2015 Chevy Impala to Include Stop-Start Technology and 4G LTE Connectivity
Last year, the 2014 Chevrolet Impala received rave reviews for its improvements in style, gas mileage and performance. All those qualities are back and more in the new 2015 Impala, which was announced last month and will become available later this summer.
The new Impala will come with a base 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine and will boast popular stop-start technology, which automatically shuts off the vehicle’s engine when stopped. The feature has been common among hybrid vehicles for a while, but Chevy has led the way in including it with its non-hybrid cars, first on the 2014 Malibu and now the 2015 Impala. With the stop-start feature, the EPA-estimated gas mileage has improved to 22 mpg city for the base engine, and the highway mileage remains an impressive 31 mpg.
Need to finish up some work or send an email on the road? The 2015 Impala will also come equipped with 4G LTE connectivity, so you can surf the web on the go with a built-in WiFi hotspot. Chevy is the first automaker to ever include WiFi hotspot functionality on its cars, trucks and crossovers, and it’s a standard feature for the new Impala.
You can get all of these features and more with the 2015 Chevy Impala, and we can’t wait to showcase this vehicle on our lot later this summer. Visit our Lakewood, NJ Chevrolet dealership for more details, or to test-drive another exciting Chevy model!
