Chrysler 200 Assembly

See Where the Chrysler 200 Is Born with the New Online Tour!

Chrysler 200 AssemblyGoogle has teamed up with Chrysler to offer a never-before-seen peek into what it takes to build the 2015 Chrysler 200, a one-of-a-kind virtual factory tour of its Sterling Heights Assembly Plant. Using Google Maps technology, visitors to can navigate the plant as though they were using Maps’ Street View system, using either a computer or mobile device to get a 360-degree look around the five-million-square-foot complex. You can explore on your own or in conjunction with a series of videos that create the experience of a “guided tour” and further explain exactly what you’re seeing on the screen.

The star of the show is the 2015 Chrysler 200, from its humble beginnings as an amorphous metal frame being coddled by robotic arms to its slow roll out onto the floor for final inspection. The 12-part tour guides viewers from the Body Shop, where preliminary building happens; through the Meteorology Center, where the frame is checked and rechecked; into the Paint Shop, where it puts on its Sunday best; and lastly to the Final Assembly sector, where it is detailed and inspected. For much of the time the viewer’s camera is inside the body of the car, offering an intimate perspective from which to consider the birth of the vehicle.

The 2015 Chrysler 200 hit showrooms earlier this year. It’s gotten a sleek and stylish redesign for the new model year, plus a bevy of new features, such as the Uconnect infotainment system, an available nine-speaker audio system, and a number of standard and optional safety features like backup camera and park assist. Its high-end cabin materials round out the package, offering perks like real wood inlays and the options of leather-trimmed seats.

The factory tour offers an inside look at what truly goes in to making a vehicle like the 200, but nothing beats seeing the finished product in person and experience the drive for yourself. Schedule a test-drive at our Lakewood, NJ Chrysler dealership to get into a 2015 Chrysler 200 today!

2015 Subaru LegacyThe needs of drivers are unique and varied, which is why there are so many types of vehicles with such diverse features and specifications. The one thing everyone can agree on, however, is the importance of safety. The peace of mind and body that comes from knowing your vehicle will protect you should the worst come to pass is an invaluable constant that influences every purchase. At our Subaru dealership in Lakewood, NJ, we are proud to say we sell some of the safest vehicles on the road, from compact sedan to SUV and everywhere in between.

Each of the 2015 Subaru vehicles has been honored as a Top Safety Pick by the IIHS, and three of those– the Forrester, Legacy, and Outback– received the ultimate Top Safety Pick+ nod that denotes an especially secure vehicle. The two midsized sedans listed above knocked it out of the park, seeing perfect scores in every single test run by the IIHS, including the notoriously challenging Small Overlap Front crash test. This means that no matter what brand-new 2015 Subaru you buy, you can rest assured that you are getting the absolute best in safety features and scores.

So no matter who you are or where you’ll be taking your Subaru, whether you’re loading the kids up in your Forrester and heading to school or loading the kayaks up in the Outback and heading to the lake, you can get from A to B knowing you’re safe.  There’s nothing quite like the contentment that comes with security, and you can have both with your new Subaru!

2015 Subaru Legacy

August Was the Best Sales Month for Subaru… Ever

Subaru WRXSpeaking in superlatives is usually a hallmark of hyperbole, but this is definitely not an exaggeration: August of 2014 was the best sales month Subaru has ever had. Ever.

“We are thrilled to have hit this milestone in August,” said Thomas Doll, the president and COO of Subaru. “Thanks to our strong products and continued accolades, our sales momentum is strong and I am confident that Subaru will achieve an all-time sales record for 2014.”

“We are very pleased with the strong retail traffic and demand for our vehicles,” agreed Jeff Walters, their senior VP of sales. “Our retailers continue to sell at record levels of efficiency and we cannot thank them enough for their outstanding sales efforts.”

With 50,246 vehicles sold, August’s numbers mark a 22% increase over sales during the same time period last year. Additionally, this is the 33rd consecutive month in which Subaru has seen year-to-year sales growth, meaning that this upward trend began way back in 2011. Overall, sales for Subaru have increased 19% this year, a stunning testament to the ongoing innovation and commitment to customer satisfaction of both the manufacturer and its dealerships.

August was the first full month that the all-new 2015 Subaru Legacy and 2015 Subaru Outback were on sale, and transactions shattered previous records. The Outback sold 12% more vehicles in comparison to last August, while the Legacy sold a whopping 51% more. Other models leading the sales charge included the Forester (25% increase), WRX (19% increase), and the XV Crosstrek (a jaw-dropping 73% increase).

With so much to offer, it’s no surprise that so many people are flocking to Subaru to meet their needs. If these innovative, affordable vehicles interest you, do as so many others did last month and head on down to our Lakewood, NJ Subaru dealership to test-drive your perfect Subaru vehicle today!
